Terms & Conditions
What you get when you buy a pass, what we promise, and where our promises end.
Last updated: September 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
Germanyhello@mevaya.euThese terms apply to all purchases made through mevaya.eu. Full provider details are in the imprint.
2. What MEVAYA provides
MEVAYA is a planning tool for city days. Building and viewing a plan (Quick Start) is free for every city and requires no account. A paid City Pass additionally lets you save plans to your account and export them as a PDF, for the cities and the period the pass covers.
Passes are sold per city, as multi-city bundles, or as an annual pass covering all cities. The duration of each is stated on the pricing page and in your purchase confirmation. A pass is a one-time purchase for a fixed period. Nothing renews automatically and there is nothing to cancel.
3. How a contract is concluded
Displaying products on the pricing page is not a binding offer. You make a binding offer by completing checkout; the contract is concluded when the payment is confirmed and we activate your pass. Your pass is activated immediately on successful payment.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are in euros and are the final amount payable. As a small business under § 19 UStG we do not charge or show value added tax. Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your card details.
Some prices are time-limited launch offers. Where that is the case it is stated at the point of sale together with the date the offer ends. A price you have already paid is not affected by later changes.
5. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Because a pass is digital content that is unlocked immediately, that right expires once we begin providing it, provided you have expressly agreed to the immediate start and acknowledged the consequence. Full details and the model form are in our withdrawal notice.
6. What you may do with the content
A pass grants you a personal, non-transferable right to use the guides, plans and exports it covers, for your own travel planning, for the duration of the pass. It does not transfer ownership of the content.
You may not resell, republish, systematically copy, or redistribute the content, and you may not extract the underlying place data to build a competing product. Sharing an individual exported plan with the people you are travelling with is fine and expected.
7. Accuracy, and the limits of it
We research opening hours, closures and access rules against official and independent sources, and re-check them on a schedule. Even so, venues change their hours, close unexpectedly, and introduce booking requirements at short notice. A plan is a well-researched suggestion, not a guarantee.
Always verify time-critical details — particularly timed-entry reservations — directly with the venue before you travel. Where we know a detail is disputed between sources, we say so rather than picking one silently.
8. Availability
We aim to keep MEVAYA available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, provider outages and events outside our control can interrupt the service. If an outage materially prevents you from using a pass you have paid for, contact us.
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation for damages arising from injury to life, body or health, for intent and gross negligence, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only where a material contractual obligation is breached, and limited to the foreseeable damage typical of this type of contract. Liability is otherwise excluded.
We are not liable for costs arising from third-party venues — closures, refused entry, changed prices or sold-out tickets — as these are outside our control.
10. Your account
Keep your password confidential. You may delete your account at any time from your account page; see the privacy policy for what happens to your data. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, for example by scraping content or attempting to circumvent the paywall.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future purchases. The version in force when you bought a pass continues to apply to that pass.
12. Governing law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
