Viktualienmarkt — Stalls trade Mon–Sat, roughly 08:00–20:00; closed Sunday. The beer garden allows bringing your own food; drinks must be bought on-site.

10:43–11:22 — Frauenkirche. The brick cathedral with two domed towers that the city has banned any building from rising above. 11:44–13:39 — Pinakothek der Moderne. Four collections in one building — modern art, design, graphics and architecture, including a basement of cars and industrial design that people wander into and stay in. Verified opening hours: Tue–Sun 10:00–18:00, Thu until 20:00; Mon closed. Sundays cost only €1 at all state museums in the Kunstareal.

13:39–14:39 — Lunch. The planner reserves time to eat right after Pinakothek der Moderne, so the afternoon continues from where the morning ended instead of detouring for food.

15:09–17:39 — Nymphenburg Palace. The Wittelsbach summer palace out west, with a park of canals, follies and swans that is free to walk. The Gallery of Beauties inside is exactly what it sounds like and rather good. Verified opening hours: Park free, open year-round. Palace roughly 09:00–18:00 in summer, 10:00–16:00 in winter.
